Hi, I’m Cristina, a lifelong dog lover and professional photographer with over 20 years behind the lens. For 13 of those years, I specialised in wedding photography, learning how to anticipate the fleeting moments that matter most. Now, I bring that same heart and intuition into photographing dogs, the companions who bring so much joy, mischief, and meaning into our lives. I share my life with two Chihuahuas, Teddy and Tia, who are 3 and a half years old and absolutely my world. They’ve taught me more about love, patience, and personality than I ever thought possible, and they’re a daily reminder of just how special the bond is between humans and their dogs. Over the years, I’ve been photographing dogs as part of a personal project, documenting the beautiful, unspoken connection we share with them. My dream is to one day bring this work together in a book that celebrates that unique bond in all its forms. Dog photography, for me, is about capturing the soul of your dog, their quirks, their spirit, the sparkle in their eyes, and those tiny, everyday moments that say everything about your bond. Whether they’re bouncing through a field or curled up in your arms, every dog has a story worth remembering and I’d be honoured to tell yours through my lens
